Our Wish List

Meals on Wheels

Dog and cat food is desperately needed for the Meals on Wheels Program.  Volunteers often find Meals on Wheels clients feeding their beloved pets the food intended for them.  If you would like to donate food, you may drop it off at the Animal Emergency Clinic and we will deliver it to Meals on Wheels.

Strays

The Animal Emergency Clinic sees many injured strays. On their behalf, we have set up a stray and abandoned pet fund to help treat injured animals.  If you would like to help foster injured pets or make a donation to the stray fund, please contact AEC Hospital Manager Rana Sargent at 864-234-4701 for more information.

Wildlife

The Animal Emergency Clinic has partnered with two organizations to rescue wildlife that has been injured.  They are Foothills Animal Rescue - Wildlife and Exotic Animal Rescue and Wildlife Rehabilitation of Greenville (WRG).  Foothills Rescue and WRG are small groups of licensed rehabbers who see everything from raptors to deer.  AEC provides after-hours care for wildlife and assists the rehabbers who care for them.  As you might imagine, it can sometimes cost a lot of money to assess injuries and rehab a wild animal.  Foothills Rescue and WRG depend solely on donations to fund their rescues.  Please contact Foothills Rescue at 864-282-1917 or  WRG at 864-233-0339 for more information or if you have an injured wild animal. If you would like to make a donation to Foothills Rescue or WRG by paying for medication or radiographs at the AEC, please contact AEC Hospital Manager Rana Sargent at 864-234-4701.

Donations

Our first priority here at the Animal Emergency Clinic is the care and comfort of our patients. Hospitalized animals are kept in cozy kennels with plenty of towels, blankets and comforters to make them feel at home.  As you may have guessed, we do a lot of laundry and often must throw away towels and blankets that become overused or heavily soiled.  As a result, we are constantly in search of new or gently used towels, blankets, quilts and comforters of any size.  If you would like to donate such items, please drop them off during clinic hours and leave us your name and address so we may be sure you are properly thanked.
